PAST PERFORMANCE
Established in 1980, MMEQ began servicing medical-centric customers in the commercial space. In 2005, Mercy Medical Equipment Company began servicing federal customers. Since 2005, we have won and continue to win contracts with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), the Department of Defense (DoD), Indian Health Services (IHS), and the Office of Government Affairs (OGA), which encompasses the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), various Embassies within the Department of State, the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) within the Department of Justice, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and the US Coast Guard (USCG). And since 2005, we have sustained a minimum of 40% year-over-year growth.

1980 - 2009
MMEQ established itself as a medical product and service provider for DMEPOS (Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Suppliers) through our warehouse and retail store in San Antonio, Texas. During the span of nearly 30 years, the retail center serviced hospitals and medical centers throughout the CONUS and successfully established long-term relationships with over 30 manufactures.
2005
● Established FSS and DAPA Contracts to sell to the VA.
● This started our journey into the federal space by providing the products and services we sold commercially to the VA and DOD through established supply contracts.
2007
Established Prime Vendor agreements with Cardinal Health and Owens & Minor to provide the medical supplied to the DOD customer.
2008
● Established agency business and year over year sales to show growth (2005 to 2010)
● Became a subcontractor to BCFS (Baptist Child and Family Services) during the state of Texas’ response to Hurricane Ike providing medical and professional equipment to first responders and disaster recovery efforts.
2015
Awarded two 10-year FSS contracts to continue our products offerings to the VA. Continued to grow our presence for providing equipment and DME for over 100 VA medical centers and 25 Military MTFs (Medical Treatment Facilites)
2017
Aided in Hurricane Harvey Response for setting up medical shelters for both out-patient and in-patient Texas residents.
2021
Awarded a 5-year DLA ECAT contract for medical equipment. We now work with over 40 MTF’s through our ECAT and DAPA.
2025
Awarded our 3rd iteration of both 65IIA and 65IIF Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) contracts to continue serving the 140 regular VA customers we serve year in and year out.
